About Pulse Business AI

Built at the intersection of systems work and operating work.

Pulse Business AI is founder-led by Ahnaf Ali and Jim Esposito. The point is practical: AI work should start with real handoffs, source boundaries, accountable owners, and reviewable outcomes instead of abstract transformation language.

Systems workAhnaf’s lane

Enterprise systems, POS, payments, data, integrations, analytics, and reviewed AI workflow execution.

Operating workJim’s lane

Field execution, franchise alignment, leadership systems, growth planning, and unit-level operating discipline.

About the executive team

The founder story gives teams a practical reason to trust the approach: platform, data, and enterprise systems execution paired with operator discipline.

Ahnaf Ali

Chief AI Officer

Ahnaf Ali is Chief AI Officer of Pulse Business AI. He brings more than 25 years of technology leadership across global restaurant and franchise systems, including Church’s Texas Chicken, BurgerFi International, Subway, Burger King, and Arby’s.

Ahnaf’s experience spans enterprise technology strategy, digital platforms, POS, payments, back office systems, data engineering, analytics, integrations, and restaurant technology services. That technical foundation is central to Pulse: building governed AI agents, source-aware systems, data workflows, and practical tools that can operate inside the real complexity of multi-unit businesses.

He brings more than 30 years of operating leadership across franchised, company-owned, and multi-unit businesses, including senior roles with Culver Franchising System, BurgerFi International, Planet Fitness, Burger King, Panera Bread, and Papa Gino’s.

Jim’s background spans system-wide operations, field execution, franchisee alignment, new-unit growth, drive-thru and digital operating models, leadership systems, and unit-level economics. That operator lens shapes Pulse around how work actually moves through a business: from board-level priorities to field execution to the daily routines managers need to run better locations.

Why the pairing matters

Technical judgment

AI workflows touch systems, access, data quality, integration boundaries, analytics, and the places where teams actually work.

Operating judgment

Adoption depends on field execution, manager routines, franchise alignment, growth planning, leadership systems, and unit-level economics.

Founder-fit decision

The relevant question is whether the first workflow needs technical architecture, operating discipline, or both before rollout.

When you talk to us

What to bring

One real handoff, the systems involved, the role that owns the decision, and the concern that would block adoption.

What Pulse returns

A first service brief, path recommendation, source-boundary question, or scope conversation.

What stays out

Unsupported proof, broad automation promises, and public claims that do not have source or permission behind them.
